Good Old Times

The image you can see below is an extremely old image that brings back many memories.
I came across it because i was looking on the internet to see if i could find a place where me and my family used to stay. I found their website and on the "about us" page i found this old image! I've added a couple more too :-).

Hardwick Hall's Orb

As some of you may know, for Christmas my friend bought me a national trust membership so we have been going round the houses quite a bit.

This picture was taken at Hardwick Hall a while ago and me and my partner were looking through the images when we discovered that this image contains an orb. You may need to save this image to your computer and zoom in to see it properly.

As it's a bit strange I thought I would share it with you all. Take Care x

Posting Daisies

This card is what we call a "post through" card and this is simply because when the card is opened (as seen) the rear image posts through.

To start off with, the image of daisies was something that i really wasn't too fond of if i'm honest but now that i have created this card i have completely fallen in love with it. Isn't it strange how much difference a butterfly can make?

I really enjoyed creating this card as i feel it is an extremely clever yet fairly simple design. Take care x

Fairy Doodle!

My first card on my blog and it's a Fairy Doodle! I think that these little creatures are REALLY cute!
I love this card and it is so simple! The design is something which i was taught a while ago and it is extremely effective! I have been sat for the past hour or so making this card just so i have got one to upload to my blog and actualy i am pretty happy about the outcome! I hope that this card can give people a few ideas for their own creations! Take care x

My First Ever Blog!!

This is my first ever blog! I can't guarantee that there will be anything really exciting on here but i will put on bits that i have made and had a go at.
So, a little bit about me.... My name is Emily, i am 17 years old and i live in the East Midlands. In the future i think i want to become a maths teacher (but i'll still be doing crafty bits.)
A few days ago my mum taught me how to knit! I've never done it before in my life but once i got into it i don't think i was that bad (i think). Also, i discovered Fairy Doodles the other day, these are really cute and i will deffinately be thinking of something to do with those!
Hopefully there will be some things that i put up that people like! I'm going to start my first project now. Can't wait to upload it! Take care x
